Making the Most of Your Money (Three-hour workshop). The economy goes through its ups and downs, but that doesn't mean our finances have to go along for the ride. This practical, interactive workshop teaches people how to apply seven timeless financial principles for uncommon financial success. Participants learn how to prioritize their use of money, get and stay out of debt, build a reserve, spend smart, and more.
The Millionaire's Secret Weapon (One-hour power lunch). What comes to mind when you think of a budget? Restrictions? A ball and chain? How about millionaire? Surprisingly, over half of all millionaire households use a budget to guide their use of money. This session helps participants see budgets through a millionaire's eyes -- as one of the most powerful tools available for productive money management. They also learn how to set up a budget and find out about free online tools that simplify the process.
Getting the Money Monkey Off Your Back (One-hour power lunch). Carrying consumer debt (defined as any type of debt other than a reasonable mortgage) is like having a monkey on your back; it weighs you down. Yet such debt permeates our culture, hindering people's financial success, health, and joy. In this workshop, participants gain encouragement while learning a step-by-step process for getting out and staying out of debt forever.
Spending Smart (One-hour power lunch). An important key for financial success is managing expenses. It's not about spending less; it's about spending smart. This workshop covers most of the major spending categories -- housing, transportation, groceries, clothing, entertainment, and more. Participants learn how to make wise choices in each area and are introduced to numerous helpful web sites.
Money to Spare (One-hour power lunch). Living on the financial edge is all too common in our culture. Very few people have money in reserve. This session teaches participants the importance of building and maintaining an emergency fund. It also teaches a process for planning ahead for bills and expenses that occur less often than monthly.
